We came to UK every year since 2014. It’s a little tradition to have fish&chips at a local fish&chips nearby. So we’ve tasted a lot of f&c in all these years. But this one was one of the best we’ve ever had. Not lying. The only one, which was as good as this, was in a little fish shop in south wales. There were 3 lovely Ladys like these here in Kirkcaldy also. So what does that mean? The best fish & chips is made by beautiful Ladys. So come on, folks, buy the best fish and chips in the country at smeatons chippy in Kirkcaldy! Best wishes and kisses to you Ladys from the crazy German metal heads! We love you 🥰

My word! Finally, a chippy worth the cash! By far thee best fish and chips I have had in a long time! Non-greasy, crispy and delicious! Everything was delicious, great size portions too! We will be ordering from here from now on. Superb. 👌

My order was a little late due to them being busy but the woman from the shop actually phoned me to say how long it will be and to apologise... Not gonna lie for the quality of the food I would of waited longer!! Absolutely amazing. Fish was cooked to perfection and the Turkish burger was so juicy and packed, I would say hands down the best chippy we have had in a VERY long time. Would highly recommend. Will 100% be ordering again.

Amazing service tonight. Ordered a mini fish supper for my Mum and asked if they had anything gluten free. They didn’t at the time but said they are about to start GF options and made me a fritter with their new GF batter free of charge! It tasted great too! The chips are all cooked in separate oil though so they were GF anyway. Friendly staff and delicious food. I’ll definitely be back to check out the GF when it starts soon. Thanks!
